Our 20th Bid for Hope

On March 8, 2026, we held our 20th annual Bid for Hope Live and Silent Auction at the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge. It was a special milestone, and we were glad to celebrate it with so many familiar faces and supporters.
The afternoon ran from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and included good food, live music, great company, and a full slate of silent and live auction items. As always, the bidding kept things lively, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out and participated.
During the program, Roper, an AHOH client and staff member, spoke about how the services at Arundel House of Hope helped him find stability and independence. Clark, also a staff member with lived experience, shared two original poems he wrote. Both were meaningful reminders of the real impact this work has on people’s lives.

We also took a moment to recognize our Director of Programs, Charity, who will be leaving Arundel House of Hope to pursue further education. Charity has been an integral part of our team for many years, and her dedication to our clients and mission has left a lasting mark on this organization. We are so proud of her and wish her all the best in this next chapter.
Thank you to our sponsors, planning committee, volunteers, and everyone who donated auction items or attended. Your continued support makes this event — and our mission — possible.
