About Community Supportive Housing
Community Supportive Housing provides permanent supportive housing for men experiencing homelessness who have a disability or are older adults. The program offers residents affordable, stable, long-term, and independent living, along with case management and other support services. Community Supportive Housing has 4 single-family homes and serves 12 individuals.
Community Housing History
In 2004, with the support of a grant from HUD and The Knott Foundation, Arundel House of Hope established the Community Housing Program, its first permanent housing initiative. Initially, the program provided housing for three individuals. By 2005, the program expanded to include two additional houses. In 2011, a fourth house was added.
