A Red-Carpet Event to Benefit People Experiencing Homelessness in Anne Arundel County
On March 10th, 2024, over 200 people attended our 18th annual Bid for Hope: An Afternoon at the Oscars Extravaganza! We’d like to thank everyone who attended, bought auction items, made donations, and made the event so successful!
We had a lot of help to make the afternoon a fun time! The delicious food was catered by Atlantic Catering, music was provided by George Evans, the live auction was facilitated by Patrick S. O’Neill, Inc, and the silent auction was expertly run by volunteers John and Margie Englert.
We’d like to thank the Bid for Hope Committee and AHOH staff members who did an excellent job planning and executing the festivities. A special shout out to Matthew, who shared his personal story about experiencing homelessness. Last, but not least, thank you to the many churches, organizations, individuals, and local businesses who donated items, gift cards, and vouchers to the silent and live auction. Without your support this event wouldn’t be possible.
